down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy, and try to win back the love of
his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right? Emily
Blunt also stars in this update to the poplular TV series that featured

Artists from Universal Music Group, which include Taylor
Swift, Drake, Adele, Bad Bunny and Billie
Eilish, will be returning to TikTok as the two parties have struck
a new licensing agreement following an approximately three month long dispute.
UMG said in January that it had not agreed to terms of a new deal with TikTok,
and planned to stop licensing content from the artists it represents on the
social media platform that is owned by ByteDance, as well as TikTok Music
services.
Sydney Sweeney might be one of the hottest names in Hollywood, but
the new ‘it girl’ found herself the subject of some very unkind remarks when a
veteran Hollywood producer declared she’s “not pretty” and “can’t act.” “How sad
that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses
instead to attack another woman,” a representative for Sweeney tells
Entertainment Weekly.
Former Nickelodeon producer and writer Dan Schneider sued
the makers of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, alleging the makers
of the documentary series wrongly implied that he sexually abused the child
actors he worked with. Schneider filed the defamation suit against Warner
Bros. Discovery and other companies behind the series in Los Angeles
Superior Court.
Johnny Manziel and Josie Canseco are officially an
item. The former college football star, who briefly played in the NFL and
CFL, confirmed his relationship with Canseco, the daughter of former
baseball slugger Jose Canseco, on Instagram recently.
Following the success of The Curse, Emma Stone,
Nathan Fielder and A24 are teaming up again to take on the
cutthroat world of chess. The studio has won the rights to the hot feature
package Checkmate, based on a book proposal by author Ben
Mezrich, whose works were adapted into The Social Network
and Dumb Money.
The long-awaited live action Masters of the Universe movie
is one step closer to becoming a reality, with Amazon MGM
Studios and Mattel Films dating the project for worldwide
theatrical release on June 5, 2026.
Victoria Justice, best known for her starring role on
Nickelodeon’s Victorious, recently said on SiriusXM’s Hits
1 LA with Tony Fly and Symon that her upcoming role in the movie
Depravity required her to film her first sex scene. The experience was
“uncomfortable” but the crew pulled it off with “taste.”
The upcoming Netflix limited series Black Rabbit starring
Jude Law and Jason Bateman is adding nearly a dozen
actors to its cast. In the series, “When the owner of a New York City hotspot
(Law) allows his turbulent brother (Bateman) back in his life, he opens the door
to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built,” per
the official description.
Lily Collins is in Rome to shoot a portion of Emily in
Paris Season 4, which wrapped filming in France last week, she announced on
Instagram. The hit Netflix show started shooting in January in Paris
ahead of the Olympic Games, which will kick off on July 26, for
which the French capital is now in final preparatory stages.
Rosie O’Donnell (A League of Their Own) has revealed she has
joined the cast for the upcoming third season of And Just Like That…,
which began production on Wednesday, May 1.
Elizabeth Banks and Jessica Biel are set to headline a series
adaptation of the Alafair Burke novel The Better
Sister at Amazon Prime Video.
