The Beekeeper
Directed by David Ayer, renowned for his work on action and crime-centered films, The Beekeeper brings viewers a story of vengeance. The victim of a phishing scam, Mr. Clay's (Jason Statham) neighbor loses all of her savings and, as a result, is driven to shoot herself, committing suicide. Out to seek vengeance for the lady whom Clay refers to as being like family, a thrilling mission for revenge begins. Referring to the plot of the film, Bill Block, producer for Miramax, claimed that The Beekeeper centers on universal themes and, with an unconventional story, is sure to have fans gripping the edge of their seats.
