the Midwest (not to mention one of the funnest), Lakes Jam is set to go for 24.
A unique mix of rock and country artists are sure to appeal to all kinds of
music fans. This years event, that takes place at the Brainerd
International Speedway, will feature Tyler Hubbard,
Jake Owen, Live, Smash Mouth and Joe
Nichols just to name a few of an all star line up. The massive campground is

Given the opportunity to participate in a life or death
reality game show, one man discovers there's a lot to
live for. When a man is offered a million dollars to
play a game in which hunters try to kill him, he thinks
he has found the perfect loophole: they can only attack
when he's alone. His only problem is that none of his
friends or family believe the game is real. This comedy
thriller featuring Jake Johnson and
Anna Kendrick is streaming with subscription
on Hulu.

Dumb Money (Netflix)
It's the ultimate David vs. Goliath tale, based on the
insane true story of everyday people who flipped the
script on Wall Street and got rich by turning
GameStop (the video game store) into the world's
hottest company. In the middle of everything is regular
guy Keith Gill (Paul Dano), who starts it
all by sinking his life savings into the stock and
posting about it. When his social posts start blowing
up, so does his life and the lives of everyone following
him. As a stock tip becomes a movement, everyone gets
rich, until the billionaires fight back, and both sides
find their worlds turned upside down. Dumb Money
featuring Paul Dano and Shailene Woodley
is streaming with subscription on Netflix.

Amazon MGM Studios has purchased the Jason
Statham starring actioner Levon’s Trade for a theatrical release. The
film is directed by David Ayer based off a script written by
Sylvester Stallone.
Kate Hudson is set to star in Mindy Kaling’s upcoming
Netflix comedy series set in the front office of a professional basketball
team, Variety has learned. The untitled series was ordered straight to
series at Netflix in June 2021. The streamer has given the series a 10 episode
order.
Super/Man, a documentary about the life of Christopher Reeve,
is finalizing a deal to sell to Warner Bros. Discovery
following its buzzy Sundance Film Festival premiere.
With no new wide releases this weekend, theater traffic is reaching a near halt
to mark the end of January. Mean Girls looks to lead domestic
charts once again, while the crop of freshly Oscar nominated features
look to extend their big screen runs armed with renewed new awards buzz.
Elsbeth, the spinoff of The Good Wife coming to
CBS on Feb. 29, has set a list of guest stars including Jane
Krakowski, Linda Lavin, Retta and Blair
Underwood. They join previously announced guest star Jesse Tyler
Ferguson.
JoJo Siwa is returning to So You Think You Can Dance
as a judge for the show’s reimagined Season 18. Siwa, who was previously a judge
on the show’s Season 17 in 2022, replaces Nigel Lythgoe, who
stepped down earlier this month in the wake of two lawsuits accusing him of
sexual assault.
Hayden Panettiere said in a recent interview with The
Messenger that filming Nashville was “very traumatizing because I
felt like I was acting out my own life.” The actor played country pop singer
Juliette Barnes on the ABC musical drama, which ran for six seasons and
124 episodes between 2012 and 2018.
