During a retreat for authors in picturesque Morocco a
popular American writer has plans to continue writing
her latest book. Her plan however gets disrupted when
she gets attracted to an American young man who has
accompanied his writer girlfriend to the retreat.
Laura Dern, the lead actress, gives us a nice
character that transports us to the talent of the
actress who at this stage of her career can afford to
give us even these romantic dramas where she does not
have to play the best role of her career, but she makes
us fall in love with a love story that fits her like a
glove in her most mature stage. Being a recognized
writer who falls in love with the always gallant Liam
Hemsworth who provides a correct character with
whom we can sympathize and at times identify.

Sadie Sink will star in the new Broadway play John
Proctor Is the Villain this spring. The play is written by Kimberly
Belflower, who is making her Broadway debut and directed by Danya
Taymor, who won a Tony Award for her direction of The
Outsiders. Sink is best known for her role as Max Mayfield in Netflix’s
Stranger Things, but has also appeared in Darren
Aronofsky’s The Whale and Taylor Swift’s short
film All Too Well.
The Boys Season 5 has cast Mason Dye in a guest star
role, Variety has learned. Dye will appear in the role of Bombsight.
Exact character details are being kept under wraps, but the character was
previously mentioned in Season 4 of “The Boys” as a Supe who starred in the
early Vought superhero film The Curse of Fu Manchu in the 1950’s.
Monster Season 3 has added Laurie Metcalf, Tom
Hollander, and Olivia Williams to its cast, Variety has
learned exclusively. The trio join previously announced cast member Charlie
Hunnam, who will star as Ed Gein in the next season of the Netflix
anthology series.
