Sneaks
When a designer sneaker (Anthony Mackie) unwittingly finds
himself lost in New York City, he must dig deep into his sole in order to rescue
his sister and return to his rightful owner. Sneaks follows the adventures of
Ty, a misguided designer sneaker who does not know life outside the comforts of
his velvet-lined shoe box. After his sister is stolen by a shady collector, Ty
must venture into New York City to find and rescue her. In his adventure, Ty
meets a rag-tag group of footwear friends from all walks of life who help him
find the courage to step outside of his shoe box and find his "sole-mate."

The Bondsman (Prime Video)
Resurrected bounty hunter, Hub Halloran (Kevin
Bacon), gets an unexpected second chance at life,
love and his nearly forgotten musical career, only to
find that his old job now has a demonic new twist.
Nothing earth shakingly original here, but the show
overcomes this with great performances from Bacon and in
particular from Beth Grant as his elderly
(but still full of fight) mother. If you were a fan of
Ash vs Evil Dead (or even
the largely forgotten and underrated Reaper) then
this show is for you.

Dying For Sex (Hulu)
Story of a woman (Michelle Williams)
diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, who abandons
her husband of 15 years and begins to fully explore her
sexuality. Molly isn't a character. She's a woman
unraveling in real time. Her body's failing, and no one
knows what to do with that. Not her husband, not her
doctors, not even herself. So she does the thing she
does best, she makes meaning out of chaos. She dives
headfirst into sex, story and sensation. She's doing
anything that feels like life while she still has it.
The show is based on a Wondery podcast of the same name
about Molly Kochan.
