For the third year in a row, American Idol will command the highest advertising prices on television, with a 30-second spot going for $500,000 to $700,000. FOX will charge the most during Tuesday night's performance show, with Wednesday night's results show remaining the second-most pricey hour of TV.

Three Six Mafia are the latest act to climb on the reality TV band-wagon. The rappers have signed on to star in a series called Adventures in Hollyhood, about the adventures of the Three Six entourage in Tinseltown.

LL Cool J is set to play an undercover LAPD officer in a new hour long TV drama called The Man. The veteran rapper will have his hands full with the show. Not only is LL's character an undercover cop raising three adopted kids during the day, LL will also co-produce the series alongside CSI creator/writer Anthony Zuiker.
