Monty Python and the Holy Grail Talking Action Figures

The Knights of the Round Table have never acted this zany, looked this great, or sounded so cool before. These action figures of King Arthur, Brave Sir Robin and Sir Bedevere the Wise from the cult classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail each feature a sound chip base that lets them say three lines of dialogue from the movie. These silly English "kuh-nigets" can say witty things like: "Cut down a tree with a herring? It can’t be done!" and "Perhaps it would confuse it if we ran away some more!" Each figure stands 7" tall, sports nine points of articulation and comes with a sword and scabbard, and shield.

At The Movies

Jeepers Creepers 2

Every 23rd spring, for 23 days, it gets to eat. The Creeper is back and he's got a whole mess of new high school kids to torment along with their coaches, and cheerleaders that are stranded on the highway. In a departure from the original Jeepers Creepers, the Creeper indicates to the high school kids just who among them is targeted for death. An all out creep fest of horror and delight, but definitely not for the younger set or the faint of heart.

On Video

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Part two of the big-screen J.R.R. Tolkien trilogy. Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Astin) continue their mission to destroy the One Ring to save Middle Earth. The title refers to Orthanc, the stronghold of treacherous wizard Saruman (Christopher Lee) and Barad-dur, the fortress of the dark lord Sauron. Towers follows several storylines that introduce new characters, go to new parts of Middle Earth and builds to thunderous climaxes that moviegoers will long remember. A must see for fans of the series, or anyone who will be going to the third installment.

The Buzz...

Triple H came through the Elimination Chamber match at SummerSlam without aggravating his much publicized groin injury. He was wearing bicycle shorts under his trunks to disguise muscle loss in the leg area, which he has not been able to train due to the injury. Now that Freddy vs Jason is making a killing at the box office, it looks like Freddie Krueger the wisecracking serial killer-turned-monster has his eye on a prequel. Elm Street: The First Kills will delve into his pre-dreamworld life as a human monster.

MTV Special Surprise

Britney Spears, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez were secretly planning a special surprise for the MTV Video Music Awards - by performing together. The pop diva trio was to team up to open the show by performing Madonna's Like A Virgin hit, but J-Lo has been forced to pull out of the power performance because her new movie won't have wrapped in time. MTV bosses are still expecting Britney and Madonna to take the stage together.

The CD will also feature tracks Take It Home and All That Easy which are hidden between tracks 8 & 9 and 15 & 16 respectively.

Comic flick Catwoman, which is set to begin filming in September, is rounding into shape. After the Hulk’s Josh Lucas beat out Benjamin Bratt for the role of Detective Love (love interest of Patience Price a.k.a. the new Catwoman), Sharon Stone joined the cast as the villainess opposite Halle Berry. In addition, it appears that Catwoman will likely have some extra powers that we haven't seen before. The superhero may have eyes that actually change into cat eyes and she'll be able to jump further than before! And while they probably won't be revealed for a while, Halle Berry is said to be donning two different Catwoman costumes in the film.

Star Wars producer Rick McCallum has revealed a number of spoilers for Episode III. Among them: there are no less than three separate lightsaber fights; the film will feature an underwater duel between Obi-Wan and droids; Anakin not only receives the name Darth Vader in the film but we'll also discover the name's relevance; Luke and Leia will make an appearance (in infant form); Count Dooku dies ten minutes into the opening of the new film, Emperor Palpatine will demonstrate his mastery of the Dark Side of the Force; Yoda may appear on Dagobah by the end of the film; and unfortunately Jar Jar Binks does not suffer a horribly violent death.

After Eminem turned down a deal to do a reality series with MTV, the network reportedly turned around and offered a reality deal to his fame-hungry mother. We hope it's just a rumor, or we can look forward to exciting episodes of Debbie Mathers thumbing through her scrapbooks, making tuna casserole, and emptying the septic tank.

WWE Superstar Kevin Nash has been cast in Marvel’s upcoming Punisher flick, but he will not be playing the role of Tombstone as had been rumored. It appears that Nash is set for the role of evil henchman #1.

Two weeks ago, Brad Pitt had dropped out of the thriller Mr and Mrs Smith following Nicole Kidman's decision to pull out due to scheduling difficulties. You waited patiently through the whole of The Matrix Reloaded end credits (a pretty impressive feat given their insane length) to get a sneak peek at the Wachowskis' final installment and may even have played your way through the Enter The Matrix game for a similar treat. Such endeavors are no longer necessary though as the first official trailer for the third film is now available on the Whatisthematrix site.

Two young thespians have joined the cast of the third (and probably final) film in the Blade series, currently titled Blade: Trinity. Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder) will portray vampire hunter Hannibal King in the film and the lovely Ashley Scott (Birds of Prey) has joined the cast as Whistler's daughter, a female vampire hunter. The big news is that these two fresh-faced characters may be spun-off into their own vampire hunting film(s) after Blade has run its course.

This December, lucky fans of The Lord of the Rings will get the chance to see the ultimate in-theater movie marathon. A row has broken out between Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Joel Schumacher over the decision to cast Gerald Butler (Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) in the film version of The Phantom of the Opera. Schumacher preferred to use Michael Crawford, who created the role of the Phantom on the British stage.

Ewan McGregor has admitted to binging on alcohol in order to cope with the depression brought on by his role in the Star Wars prequels.
