Wolverine Claws Replica

No other X-Man is as popular as the mutant scrapper known as Wolverine.  Now, Diamond Select and Industrial Zoo present the life-sized, 1:1 scale replica of Wolverine’s forearm, complete with extended claws and simulated deployment mechanisms. The skeletal arm measures over 2-feet in length and comes encased in a clear plexi-glass tube.  This item is limited to 2,500 pieces and comes with a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Wait, that’s not the best part, if you really want it, the price is only a mere $250.00 U.S.

At The Movies

X2: X-Men United

X2 reunites the principal cast members of X-Men, which theatrically has grossed nearly $300 million worldwide, was a video and DVD phenomenon, and pioneered the current wave of comics to film adaptations. Also returning are the original's key creative team, including director Bryan Singer. X-Men 2 focuses on doppelgangers, evil twins who share similar qualities, such as Wolverine and Deathstrike, Xavier and Magneto, Iceman and Pyro. Then there's blue-skinned Mystique (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos), who can duplicate anyone she likes, and does so to terrific effect here. Rounding out the X-Men this time out are Kitty Pryde, Colossus, and Nightcrawler amongst other notables all captured in spectacular fashion. If its action, adventure and great special effects you're after, you won't be disappointed. As Stan Lee would say, Nuff Said.

On Video

Darkness Falls

In their never-ending-quest to come up with horror film scenarios, filmmakers seem willing to tap any and all characters to turn them into avenging bogeymen. For this outing, the filmmakers have come up with a monstrous tooth fairy that wrecks havoc on the town of Darkness Falls. The film starts with a prologue of a woman, a lighthouse keeper with a badly burned face, unjustly accused of a heinous crime. In the ensuing 150 years since the miscarriage of justice, whenever local kids lose their last baby tooth, the evil spirit of the woman appears, scarring the kids forever. The movie quickly moves to the present, where Kyle, safely away from Darkness Falls, must return home to confront his troubled past (he was accused of murdering his mother when we all know it was the tooth fairy) to save his childhood sweetheart and her younger brother (on his was to losing his last baby tooth) from the monster.
