Nashville Pussy
Let Them Eat.....
Making no apologies for their in
your face, adrenaline laced rock and roll barrage, this band goes for your
throat as well as your ears. Lead guitarist Ruyter Suys propels the tracks
while her husband/frontman Blaine Cartwright screams his lewd, redneck-drenched
lyrics like a crazed hillbilly on a week long moonshine bender. Relying heavily
on their legendary live performances to sell discs, Mercury records has taken
note and signed the band to a multi-million dollar deal. Let Them Eat... will
satisfy even the hardiest hard rock appetites.
At The
Movies...
There's Something About Mary
The sleeper hit of the summer,
brought to us by the creators of Dumb and Dumber and Kingpin, Something About
Mary is like a breath of fresh air. Matt Dillon and Ben Stiller
lead a gallery
of unscrupulous characters that vie for the attention of Mary (Cameron Diaz).
Despite the spurts of low brow humor, this movie is clever and sweetly romantic,
with loads of scenes that will keep you rolling in the aisles. Easily the
funniest release in years, this is the film that friends are telling friends not
to miss.

The Borrowers
John Goodman heads the cast in
this delightful fantasy based on the popular novels of Mary Norton. Tiny people
co-exist with their human counterparts, borrowing whatever they need to survive,
while we run around complaining when things go missing for no reason
whatsoever. A mixture of Gulliver's Travels and Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, with
spectacular effects, lavish sets and clever charm.
The Buzz...

A bidding war over broadcasting

Mechanical
Animals, the new release from shock rockers Marilyn Manson, has
already created a fuss weeks before it's release. K-Mart, Target and
Wal-Mart have decided not to carry the album, due to either the parental
warning sticker for obscene language or the explicit art cover which shows a
naked androgynous Manson.

Seattle this summer, and the original Black Sabbath will see Black
Sabbath Live that was taped during last years reunion tour, on the shelves Oct
