Garth Brooks
The Limited Series
In less than a decade Garth
Brooks has defined a musical genre and gained worldwide superstar status. This
is a fitting opus to a musical phenom that shows no signs of slowing down. A
box set of his first six albums, many which are not in circulation today, are
wrapped together and priced right for anyone who is catching his wave of talent
as of late. Better hurry though, only 2 million sets were pressed.

During the 1996 California
primaries, an incumbent U.S. senator (Warren Beatty) plots his own
assassination, freeing him to speak with politically incorrect candor and seek
the affection of a young African-American activist (Halle Berry). Many scenes
in this movie pay off with big laughs, resulting in an entertaining, upbeat film
that showcases Beatty at his best in years.

Midnight In The Garden Of Good
And Evil
A writer gets involved in a
shocking murder this drama directed by Clint Eastwood and starring John Cusack
and Kevin Spacey. This is sophisticated filmmaking at its best with plumb roles
for all involved. There's sex, transvestitism, homosexuality, and old rich vs.
nouveau riche in this oddball tale. Put the kids to bed first though...

tribute to the cover of the very first issue of the original Justice League
