Hootie & The Blowfish
- Musical Chairs
The band's new album certainly
does nothing to break the mold in branching out, Musical Chairs is yet another
solid collection of toe-tapping, impossibly pleasant sing-alongs that should
easily earn Hootie at least a bazillion more dollars. This album presents a
radio-friendly blues-rock sound with touches of bluegrass, country and R&B,
elements that bring the band one step closer to its goal of becoming the Eagles
of the '90s.
At The Movies
Rush Hour
A Hong Kong detective joins
forces with a renegade L.A. cop to rescue a kidnapped young girl from
bomb-wielding gangsters. Starring Jackie Chan, Rush Hour is the film that could
finally put him on the action-movie A-list. An adrenaline rush of
pedal-to-the-metal action-comedy for those testosterone-pumped action fans who
can't suffer through another Lethal Weapon and need some fresh blood.

Romania, he meets up with the giant, whisks him back to the States and promises
to reunite him with a long-lost sweetheart, all the while planning for fame and
fortune. Naturally, both learn new things about values and priorities in life.
