Step Kings
Let's Get It On!
The Step Kings express rage and aggression with distorted guitars, a driving
rhythm section, major chords, open fifth intervals, and 4/4 meters. The band
hits some strong two part vocal harmonies, blending them with rap type vocals
and football cheers. Also in their behalf, it takes just three guys to make all
of this racket. That's almost equal to the noise generated by Slipknot with
one-third the payroll! This band is hard rock and certainly skilled enough to
win you over, especially in a live situation.

U-571
A group of Americans are involved in a daring plan to steal the infamous enigma
coding device from a Nazi U-boat in the Atlantic at the height of World War II. Allied intelligence needs this machine so that they can decipher enemy movements
and stop the incessant wolfpack attacks on convoys carrying vital supplies
across the Atlantic. Director Jonathan Mostow is sounding elated and surprised
about the positive response his film has been getting courtesy of recent
screenings. This film actually scored best with women over 30, so guys bring
your mom and enjoy the action.

Fight Club
A controversial film about a group of alienated men who test their mettle by
conducting bare-handed fights, leading to out-of-control terrorism. The dark
and incredibly nihilistic film follows the breakdown of morality of a liability
specialist for a car company, played by Edward Norton, as he befriends and comes
under the spell of a brainy but nasty loner (Brad Pitt). As their friendship
grows, so too does their search for meaning in a world they feel is all too
commodified and conformist.
