Off The Record...
U2
All That You Can't Leave Behind
This album is truly excellent. There is a broad spectrum of music, from the
blissful Beautiful Day to Elevation, a great song with a touch of techno and
pop. The mood of the CD is really calm, but it
grabs from the beginning and doesn't let you go. It has a touch of all their
past work, yet is truly fresh material. U2 has referred to this album as their
strongest since the multi-platinum Joshua Tree, and they are right on the money.
After a couple of questionable albums U2 is back with a vengeance. Highly
recommended!
At The Movies...
The Grinch
The live action adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic. A Grinch who hates
Christmas decides to keep the holiday from coming to Who-ville by sneaking into
the town on the eve of the big day to steal everything that's associated with
the holiday. The Mean One, Mr. Grinch will be smiling this holiday. The box
office will go through the roof with families rushing out to see the live action
version of this beloved holiday favorite. An ambitious undertaking, but it pays
of with a movie that is entertaining as well as sentimental.

18 inch Movie Maniacs figures
Stand back, slashers are in the house. Two of the most popular Movie Maniacs
figures Michael Myers from Halloween and Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm
Street, have been resculpted at an amazing 18 inches tall. Freddy even has a
removable hat and the masked killer has nine points of articulation and comes
with a knife. Both figures also come with motion-activated sound voice chips.
They are hot and are sold out at production, but you can find them at a certain
