Deluxe Darth Maul
While most of Star Wars: Episode 1seems to have been manufactured strictly for
kids, the demonic-looking Darth Maul sure wasn't. The Deluxe Darth Maul figure
comes with a special plastic post; which also serves as a smaller version of a
lightsaber. By clipping the figure onto the post, you can activate Darth Maul's
menacing lightsaber swinging moves. You can also use the post to spin and rotate
the figure, achieving nearly the same flips and somersaults that Maul exhibited
in the final duel. For serious collectors who are wondering whether to leave it
in the box, open it and play with it.

Billy Elliot
Despite his father's desire for him to learn boxing, Billy (Jamie Bell) decides
he wants to become a ballet dancer. Under the no-nonsense encouragement of his
ballet instructor Mrs. Wilkinson, Billy comes to realize that he has a special
gift for dance. It then becomes a matter of convincing his widowed father and
occasionally brutal brother to let him follow his destiny. Billy Elliot is a
feel-good movie that you don't have to feel bad about feeling good about. This
film delivers the tear-jerking goods, but purposely and consistently undercut in
a way that is most refreshing.
