The Corrs
Talk
on Corners
A hit around the
world, this album's Celtic sounds coupled with great songs should have the Corrs
grabbing ears around North America. Talk on Corners is a fine mix of pop sounds
with traditional strings and winds. Easy on the ears without being dull, the
only thing more refreshing than their talent is that they've got more of it than
they have attitude. The Corrs hit the American music scene with a tasty,
friendly, cool CD and no flack.
At The
Movies...
Doug's
First Movie
Doug wants to take
Patty Mayonnaise to the school dance, even though another, older student also
has designs on her. He’s also discovered that the legend about the monster in
Lucky Duck Lake is true. Bully, girl, and monster trouble, what more could you
ask for in your first movie? A sweet moral tale, that’s beautifully drawn,
sure to keep the kids interested throughout.
On Video...
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
This sequel to the smash horror hit of 1997, has the survivor of the original's
bloodbath taking a holiday in the Bahamas with some friends in hopes of shedding
her paranoia and hallucinations about the original killing spree a year earlier.
Naturally the vacation is ripped apart when she's once again confronted by the
crazed murderer. Starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr., it’s
good, scary fun.
