Off The Record...

Tom Waits

Mule Variations

Six years since his last release, Mule Variations is not merely a new Tom Waits recording, it’s the culmination of more than 25 years of his work.  One of the premiere songwriters and storytellers of our generation, Waits delivers a superb effort, with uplifting songs and haunting ballads.  A must for the true music connoisseur.

At The Movies...

Life

On Video...

Stepmom

A real tear-jerker showing the turmoil of an upper-middle class family when mom (Susan Sarandon) and dad (Ed Harris) separate and dad takes up with a younger, career-minded fashion photographer (Julia Roberts) who's forced into the role of stepmother for his two kids.  Director Chris Columbus (Mrs. Doubtfire) masterfully delivers plenty of laughs and warm moments in between the tissues.
